Wanda Hazelle Fullen Abbott
Wanda Hazelle Fullen Abbott, 91, of Forest, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 27, 2006, with her family at her side. Born Sept. 15, 1914, in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Estelle Hawkins Fullen.
Wanda was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. She was also a graduate of New London Academy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mae Craghead; and a brother, Joseph E. Fullen, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Calvin Joseph Abbott; three children, C. Wayne Abbott and his wife, Barbara of Forest, Joyce A. Ruff and her husband, Richard of Goode, and Brenda A. Davis and her husband, Perry of Forest; four grandchildren, Kristen Graham, Dwayne Abbott, Brandon Davis and Jennifer Patterson; five step-grandchildren, Pam Dyba, Rita Parker, Angie Gerni, Melissa Gaddy and Greg Davis; two great-grandchildren, Jarred Patterson and Luke Patterson; seven step great-grandchildren, Sam Dyba, Jacob Dyba, Luke Dyba, Kelsey Gerni, Sophia Gerni, Isabella Parker and Evie Davis; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, June 30, 2006, in Virginia Memorial Park, with the Rev. Mark Flores and the Rev. Julie Flores officiating.
