WOMAN SHOT IN HEAD IN CRITICAL CONDITION

A Bath County woman remains in critical condition at the UK Medical Center in Lexington after suffering a gunshot wound in the head about 4 a.m. Sunday.
Kentucky State Police in Morehead said Judith A. Bradley, 39, was shot in the head with a .38-caliber revolver. The shooting occurred at the Ted Bradley home on Little Flat Creek Road, one mile west of Bethel.
A Keal Funeral Home ambulance was called and attendants found the victim on the floor unconscious. She was first taken to Mary Chiles Hospital in Mount Sterling and then to UK Medical Center.
Ted Bradley was arrested Monday night and charged with assault in the first degree and criminal intent. He remains free on bond and was to appear before the grand jury yesterday morning.

Judith is survived by her husband Ted, one son Ted Stuart Bradley-at home, one daughter, Jennifer Williams of Sharpsburg, three sisters, Carolyn Conley-Mt Sterling, Mrs Jerry Maloney-Jeffersonville; Teresa Mansfield-Mt Sterling; two brothers; Robert and Paul Mansfield of Mt Sterling.
