BRONTE- Roy Regnaild Bennett, 87, died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000, at a Bronte nursing home. Services will be 2 P.M. today, Nov. 30, 2000, at Lawrence-Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Anson with the Rev. Joe Prim officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Born June 8, 1913, in Nacogdoches, Regnaild was a son of the late John and Nancy (Rogers) Bennett. He lived most of his life in the Merkel area until moving to Bronte in 1989. Regnaild was a farmer and rancher.
Two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
Survivors include: Three sisters, Odessa Brock of Seminole, Daisy Sims of Bronte, and Dorothy Williams of Abilene; and numerous nieces and nephews.
