Prudence was the daughter of Elias Taylor. She married Abner Peterson, most likely in Orange County, NY. Abner and Prudence had 14 children, 12 of which lived to adulthood. The children were Elias, Deborah (died in infancy), John, Anna, Hannah, Caleb, William (died in infancy), Rebecca, Elizabeth, Aaron, Sarah, Maria, Kazia and James.
