The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in The Trout Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Heyer, associate pastor of Ponca City First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Poncy City IOOF Cemetery under the direction of the Trout Funeral Home.
Harold Bristow was born Aug. 19, 1912, in Howell County, Mo., the sone of William Elbert and Augusta Inez (Keller) Bristow. He received his education in Ponca City schools and graduated from Ponca City High School.
On July 14, 1967, he was married to Leatrice Mae Smiley at the Ponca City First Christian Church, and the couple have made their home in Ponca City since. Bristow was employed at the Conoco Refinery for more than 45 years and at the time of his retirement was operator supervisor of the east plant. He was a member of the Ponca City First Christian Church. His hobbies included working crossword puzzles.
Survivors include his wife, Leatrice of the home (& others) He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Sarah Millican; and two brothers, Starling Glenn and Winfred Bristow.
