Daughter of Walter Wood and Clara Coleman Curd, she lived her life on Horse Farms in Burgin and Lexington, KY and worked for The Lexington Baptist College and General Telephone Company for a few years. She was a member of Ashland Avenue Baptist Church and loved her youthful memories of farm life.
