Floyd Julius Freeman was born to Mr. Bennie Freeman and Mrs. Willie Mae 'Edwards' Freeman. Floyd was the 2nd to the oldest of Bennie's and the 1st child of Willie Mae. Floyd's was preceded in death by his youngest brother Ronnie and his Father. He became the protector of his Mother and siblings after his Father passed.
The family moved from Venice, CA to Antelope Valley, CA and there he attended Palmdale High and meet Arleatha O. Woodard and thereafter; he was blessed with a beautiful baby daughter named Shirelle Freeman that he loved and protected.
Now family and friends said when Floyd acted as the Patriarch in the Freeman family no one spoke back or dare did the opposite. Floyd meant business and he always made sure his family needed for nothing.
Floyd will be missed and cherished by his friends, Arleatha Woodard and their daughter Shirelle, siblings: Gerry Freeman; son Brian and daughter Toi, Kenny Freeman, Wanda Freeman; son Shawn and Shauvea, Bennie Jr (B.J.) Freeman and his Mother Willie Mae Freeman.
