Fond du Lac Commonwealth Reporter, Aug. 3, 1937, p. 14, c. 1. RETIRED FARMER EXPIRES IN CITY. Joseph Kohlmann, 67, Native Of Forest, Dies After Illness. Joseph Kohlmann, 67, retired Town of Forest farmer, died at 1:30 a.m. today at his home, 26 North Marr street, after two years illness. Born Aug. 4, 1869, in the Town of Forest he was married May 7, 1889, to Mary Zenner in Holy Cross church at Mt. Calvary. Surviving are his widow, five sons, Albert of St. Cloud, Ferdinand of Milwaukee, Florian and Bernard of this city and August of Dotyville, four daughters, Sr. Lucinda of Milwaukee, a member of the Sisterhood of St. Agnes, Mrs. Arthur Kirchoff of Berlin, Mrs. George Birschbach of St. Joe and Mrs. Frank Parish of this city, 30 grandchildren, four brothers, Charles of Mt. Calvary and Martin, John and Ferdinand of St. Cloud and a sister, Mrs. Joseph Haensgen of Milwaukee. A son, Joseph, preceded him in death. Mr. Kohlmann was a member of St. Joseph's society and of the Holy Name society of St. Mary's church. Funeral services will be held at 8:45 a.m. Thursday from the residence and at 9 a.m. from St. Mary's church. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.

Funeral services for Joseph Kohlmann, who died Tuesday, were held at 8:45 a.m. today from the residence, 26 North Marr street, and at 9 a.m. from St. Mary's church, the Very Rev. Peter W. Gersbach, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Calvary cemetery. Active bearers were Claude Kohlmann, Otto, Leo, Felix and Benjamin (sic: Benedict) Kohlmann and Ben Blank, while Frank Anders, Matt May, John Fuhrman, Nick Mossong, Michael Wasbush, John Molitor, Joseph Retterath and John Ziegler, members of the Holy Name and St. Joseph's societies of the church, with which Mr. Kohlmann was affiliated, attended in a body. Those attending the services included Sr. M. Lucinda and Mr. and Mrs. Fred (sic: Ferd) Kohlmann of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. William Kohlmann of Sheboygan Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Zenner, Mrs. Felhofer and daughter, Margaret, and Peter, Michael and Bernard Zenner of Stratford; Mr. and Mrs. Weeboreck and Clara Zenner of Marshfield; John Zenner of Medford; Charles and Martin Kohlmann, Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Kohlmann, Mrs. Clara Kohlmann, Mr. and Mrs. George Ditter, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kohlmann, Mr. and Mrs. George Birschbach, Mr. and Mrs. Val Baus, Sr., Mrs. Ben Baus, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. George Baus of St. Cloud.
