REE HEIGHTS, SD – Word has been received here of the death of Ward Nation, 69, on July 27, at Scio, Oregon, where he has lived since 1945 and where he started the Nation West Scio Fertilizer Co. in 1958.
He is survived by his widow, Sally, a daughter and granddaughter. He was a brother of Mrs. Walt Blaseg and Leonard Nation of Council Bluffs, Ia., former Ree Heights residents. He visited here many times when his parents were living.
Services were held at Weddle Mortuary, Stayton, and interment in Belcrest Memorial Park, Salem, Ore.
