L. A. Minniear, 76, Dies At Hospital

Lewis Albert Minniear, 76, lifelong resident of Huntington county, died at 8:40 p.m. Sunday at the Clinic hospital, following an illness of six weeks from a heart and liver ailment. His home was northeast of Warren.

Born Oct. 10, 1869, in Huntington county, near Mt. Etna, the decedent was the son of Joseph and Rachael Ann Searles Minniear. His marriage Dec. 15, 1893, was to Viola Clark, who died March 29, 1919. Mr. Minniear, a farmer, was associated with the Farmers Mutual Insurance company of Huntington, for several years. He was a member of the Boehmer church and of the Liberty Center I.O.O.F. lodge for a period of over 50 years.

Surviving are four sons, Vaughn, of Garrett; Clarence, of Gary; Lloyd, of Liberty Center, and Ernest, of Indianapolis; a daughter, Mrs. Bertha Stanton, of Rock Creek township, Huntington county; 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jerome of Rock Creek township, Huntington county, and Isaac of Oklahoma, and a sister, Mrs. Hannah Bowman, of Salamonie township, Huntington county.
