Funeral Services will be Thursday at 4:00 pm in the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Willy Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Ater Cemetery after the services.
Edith was born October 6, 1917, in Gatesville, Texas, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Zack and Francis Hensley Kays. She married Cecil Buster on November 30, 1937. He preceded her in death in 1978. She remained devoted to him the rest of her life.
Edith enjoyed quilting, growing roses, reading, and spoiling her grandchildren. Edith was saved by her Lord at a very young age and carried her faith with her the remainder of her life. She read the Good Book every night and had read the Old thru the New Testaments many times over. She was a Baptist and loved her Lord dearly.
Edith will be truly missed by her family and friends and all whom ever had the great honor to meet her.
Survivors include: her sons, Jim Buster, Willie Buster and his wife Shirley; a daughter-in-law, Linda Buster; her daughters, Frances Grizzle, Sandy Frost, and Christine Grizzle. Her adopted daughter Susie Smith as well as seventeen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil, her sons--Jackie and Teddy Buster; her twins--Dale and Gale Buster; her granddaughter, Lisa Marie Grizzle; her grandson, Jackie Leroy Buster; her daughter-in-law, Lisa Buster, her sons-in-law, Bernie Grizzle, David Grizzle, and Bill Frost, 3 brothers, 5 Sisters, and her parents.
