Canadian politician. Born in Varennes (Québec), on July 10, 1829. He was a contractor, a financier, a railway promoter. From September 20, 1867 to July 8, 1872, in the House of Commons he was the Conservative representative for Drummond-Arthabaska, in Quebec. On January 25, 1887, he was appointed to the Senate to represent the senatorial Division of Mille Isles, in Québec. He died in Office on October 11, 1887.
