Mildred L. Tompkins - Dubois - Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of Strange and Weaver Home for Funerals, Deer Creek Road, Morrisdale, for Mildred L. Tompkins, 64, of Dubois, who died Sunday, March 18, 2001, at her residence.

Rev. Donna J. Wolffinger and Rev. H. Lee Hebel will officiate. Interment will be at Keewaydin Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Born Nov. 13, 1936, in Philipsburg, she was a daughter of Wilber McFaye of Frenchville RR and the late Mary Ellen (Welch) McFaye, who died in September 1989.

Mrs. Tompkins was a homemaker and a former member of the Salvation Army,Clearfield.

In addition to her father, she is survived by four daughters, Connie Hummell and her husband Jeffery, of Dubois, Patty Wise and her husband John, of Kylertown, mary Maines of Pittsburg and Lisa McGuire fo Dubois; a son, Michael Maines and his wife Peggy, of DuBois; six grandchildren, three sisters, Margaret Michaels and her husband Ronlad, of Frenchville, Grace Leigey and her Thomas of LeContes Mills and Bonnie Maines and her husband, Ben, of Frenchville RR; and a brother, Wilbur McFaye Jr. and his wife Dixie, of Frenchville.

She was preceded in death by her mother, her first husband Robert Allen Maines in 1968; second husband, Charles Tompkins on Nov. 22, 1998; and a brother Richard McFaye Sr.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, 112 S. Allegheny St. Room 309, Bellefonte, PA 16823
