Hattie was the daughter of Isaac Corey Manchester and Maria Almira Lewis. She married Frank Norris Young (on the condition that he would never smoke again!) on May 5, 1891. There son, Lewis Douglas is my grandfather. They had 1 other son Everett F. Young. Hattie's sister Annie married Hattie's husband's brother Arthur L. Young! Hattie died of a "malignant form of cancer" at her home on 13 Laura Street. The cancer was throat cancer. Her husband built, lived and died in that beautiful house. It now, however is in a very bad section of town, has had a major fire and is only a fraction of what it once was.
