He also played for the Atlanta Braves in 1973, and 1974, San Diego Padres in 1975, St. Louis Cardinals in 1976, and Milwaukee Brewers in 1976. He had 57 saves, a total pitchings of 611, winnings/losses of 34-40, and an ERA of 3.32, in his total career of only 9 years. His many nicknames included 'Bear.' Frisella was killed on January 1, 1977, in a dune buggy accident near Phoenix, Arizona. He was 30 years old.
