Samuel Lee Cole, 73, of Braman OK, passed away October 5, 2009, at Integris Blackwell Regional Hospital. He was born November 9, 1935, at Wichita KS to Talmadge and Orilla (Aldridge) Cole.

Samuel grew up in Wichita. He had lived in Braman for the past 30 years. He married Vivian Cole on March 23, 1958, and they celebrated 50 years of marriage; she preceded him in death in January of this year. Samuel enjoyed fishing and watching old westerns when he was not running his own bar called "Sam and Viv's" in Braman.

Family members include his children, Debi Utech and husband John, Rick Cole and wife Joy, Brenda Wilson and husband Tim; sister Vicki Smith; half-brothers Tom and Randy Williams; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and stepfather Frank Williams.

Samuel will be cremated, and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
