Mrs. Ace worked as an RSA at Polk Center and also worked as a mechanical drafter for Joy Manufacturing.
She attended the Uniontown Heights Sunday School and Church. Mrs. Ace was a member of the Franklin Lady Eagles, Franklin Red & Black Club and the Thursday Morning Ladies Bowling League at Masterson's Lanes. She enjoyed golfing at Cross Creek, fishing and hunting and loved her family.
Mrs. Ace was married Aug. 10, 1961, to Robert Ace, who survives. Also surviving are two children, Robert L. Ace Jr. and Mrs. Lanny J. (Roberta J.) Hovis, both of Franklin; three grandchildren, Julie DeAnne Shetler and James Allen Hovis, both of Franklin, and Darcee Winget of Franklin. She also is survived by two brothers, Paul Allen Miller of
Utica and Walter H. Miller of Franklin. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ace was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lisa Gay Ace.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home, Franklin. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. John Sass, pastor of the Uniontown Sunday School and Church, officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.
