Mrs. Caton was born December 23, 1918 in Catlett, Virginia, daughter of the late Luther and Eva (Heflin) Ennis. She was a longtime member of Catlett Assembly of God where she taught Sunday school. She loved gardening, flowers, farming and life.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee Caton; one daughter, Joan Lorraine Caton Mayhugh; one son, Charles Raymond Caton; three grandchildren, Gordie, Tony and Linda Sue and son-in-law, Bill Bolt.
Survivors include five children, Harry Lee "Bill" Caton and wife Ann, Donald Edward Caton and wife Ada, Betty Lou Bolt, Beverly Jean Ballinger and husband Alan and Diane Elizabeth Goode and husband Charlie; son-in-law, Gordon Mayhugh, Jr.; 16 grandchildren, Karen, Tommy, Clint, Donna, Rhonda, Melissa, Kennard, Mike, Renee, Christine, Sara, Derek, Travis, Dusty, Chuck and Sherry; 20 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Catlett Assembly of God, 9250 Prospect Avenue, Catlett with Rev. Harry E. Schaidt and Rev. Gilbert L. Foster, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Catlett Cemetery, Catlett.

.........Mrs. Caton was the first cousin of my mother-in-law, Virginia Heflin Rumph Neyhouse. I am married to her son Stan. My mother-in-law's father, Carroll Benton Heflin was a brother of Mrs. Caton's mother, Eva Heflin Ennis.
