Jesse J. Brown
Havre--Jesse J. Brown, 84, died at a local hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
Born in Hamburg, Iowa, he married Georgia Prather May 16, 1905, at Sidney, Iowa. In 1917 the couple homesteaded 23 miles northeast of Havre. They moved to Havre in 1922 where Brown worked as a carpenter for the Great Northern Railroad for more than 30 years.
Survivors include the widow; three daughters, Mrs. Dan Holberg, Havre; Mrs. Nels Hanson, Cut Bank; Mrs. Jess Kibbee, Valier; three sisters, 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
