A native of Jersey City,he lived there most of his life. Charles married Lydia Aurelia Seron on October 22, 1949 in Jersey City, NJ. They lived there until moving to Lakewood in 1989.
Charles Warner was a payroll supervisor for Hudson County for more than 30 years. He retired in 1989.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Warner was a member of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, George A. Custer Camp 17, and the 37th Division Veterans Association Lone Star Chapter.
Surviving are his wife, Lydia (Seron); a son, Gary, of Bayonne; a daughter, Dianne Bono; a granddaughter, Kimberly Skruodys; and a great-granddaughter, Ashley Riner.
