"Died - Mr. W. S. Watson infant son, Simmie, aged about nine months died last
Friday morning after a painful illness of about two weeks of flux. Little
Simmie was a very bright, promising child and quite large and stout for his age
and the picture of baby health when he was taken ill. He was carefully watched
and tendered by loving hearts and hands everything done was of no avail. The
sweet cordial little fellow grew gradually worse until death relieved his
spirit from the body's proven house of pain. It is hard for the young parents
to give up their youngest born but death is no respecter of feelings and as has
been said "has all seasons for his own". Many relatives and friends of the
family sympathize deeply with the sad parents in their bereavement. The
deceased was interred in the Lake Chapell cemetery on Ward Praire."
