CASCADE — Services for Mrs. Lulu Mary Evans, 84, who died Saturday in a McCall hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Cascade Community Christian Church. The Rev. Roy Patton will officiate. Interment will follow at Margaret under direction of Walker Chapel of McCall.
Mrs. Evans was born March 7, 1881, at Skidmore, Mo. She was married to Frank Dennis in 1898 at Missoula, Mont. The couple moved to the Alpha Community in Valley County in 1904, where they engaged in farming. She later made her home at Cascade. Mr. Dennis preceded her in death and she later was married to Mr. Evans.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Survivors include five sons, Leroy and Frank Dennis, both Cascade, Joseph Baker, Cascade, Raymond Baker, Green River, Utah, and Batty Meyers, Renton, Wash,; a daughter, Mrs. Lilian Hyskey, Cascade; a brother, Coit Herrick, Cascade; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Two brothers preceded her in death.
