Galen Henry Harvey is the grandson of William Harvey (1749-1836, Revolutionary War Soldier) and Lenah Gentry. He married Delilah Pope, 31 Dec 1835, in Knolt Place, Bartholomew, Indiana. This couple had the following children: Leonard Harvey, William Harvey, James Harvey, Galen Henry Harvey, George Washington Harvey, and Delilah Elizabeth Harvey. They lived most of their lives in Jackson County, Indiana, and he was a farmer by trade. Galen died at the home of his daughter, Delilah Elizabeth Clark.
