RUMFORD - Mrs. Catherine B. Fleming, 74, widow of William Fleming, died Monday morning at Rumford Community Hospital where she had been a patient for one year.

Born at Cork Station, N.B., Dec. 25, 1874, she was the daughter of Patrick J. and Jane McAnn Coholan. Mrs. Fleming had resided in Rumford about 21 years and the past three years had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Jerome Richard.

Surviving her are seven sons, William A., John C., Vincent E., Willard J., all of Rumford; Patrick J., Chisholm; George F., Calif.; Charles, New York; two daughters, Mrs. Jerome Richards and Mrs. Allam [sic] Anderson of Mexico; one brother, Jeremiah of Macadam Jct., N.B.; two sisters, Mrs. Bart Mazeroll of Kings Clear, N.B.; and Mrs. Mary Kenny of Portland; eight grandchildren, one great grandson and several nieces and nephews.



In Rumford, Jan 31, Catherine B. Fleming, age 74. Services Wednesday at 8 a.m. at St. Athanasius church. Entombment at Calais, Me. Burial in the Spring at Calais. Friends may call at Mender & Son Funeral Home.

Catherine B. Fleming, 74, died Monday at the Community Hospital where she had been a patient for a few hours.

She had made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Jerome Richards, Raymond street, for three years. She had been a resident of this community 21 years. Her husband, William J. Fleming, died some time ago.

She was born at Cork Station, N.B. December 25, 1874, the daughter of Patrick and Jane McCann Coholan.

Mrs. Fleming is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Bart Mozeroll, Kings Clear, N.B., Mrs. Mary Kenney, Portland; a brother, Jeremiah Coholan, Macadam Junction, New Brunswick; seven sons, William A., John C., Vincent E., Willard J. of Rumford; Patrick J., of Chisholm, George F. of California, Charles H. of New York, two daughters, Mrs. Jerome Richards, Mrs. Aaron Anderson, Mexico; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at St. Athanasius Church, Wednesday morning, at 8 a.m. Entombment was in Calais receiving vault for burial in Calais in the Spring.
