Mae was a lifelong friend. In younger years she enjoyed music, shooting pool and darts quite well, playing cards, pinball, swimming and tanning at Reichwein's Pool in the Lavelle-Mowry area, the nearest rooftop or local water hole, hiking, cruising the "valley roads" and about town. Going out to Tony's Lunch, Girardville for "screamer" hamburgers. She enjoyed concerts with the rest of our town clique often going to Philly for shows. We enjoyed the beverages of our choice. She played Def Leppard non-stop until I'd threaten to throw it out the window of the car. Her later years were centered on her family.
