Albert S. ''Bubba'' Agolini, 78, of the 5300 block of W. Overholt Drive, died Feb. 5, 2001, at his residence.
Born in Norfolk, Mr. Agolini was a retired aviation ordinance with civil service after 33 1/2 years and was a U.S. Naval veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty H. Agolini; a daughter, Virginia Johnson; a sister, Josephine Wallis of Norfolk; a brother, Edward C. Agolini and wife, Jennie, of Virginia Beach; two grandsons, Joshua and Jason Adcock; a great-grandson; two nephews, Jerry Agolini and wife, Sharon, of Jacksonville, Fla., James Agolini and wife, Patty, of Virginia Beach; two nieces, Susan Hatfield and husband, Cecil, of Virginia Beach, Catherine Wallis of Annapolis, Md.; and three great-nephews, Tony Agolini of Jacksonville, Andy Carwile and Cody Agolini, both of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Colonial Grove Memorial Park by Father Roderick J. McRae. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
