Elsie was a longtime member of Narbonne Ave. Baptist Church, aka "The Bay", theFellowship of South Bay, in Lomita, California. Following May 23, 2006 services at Gamby Mortuary Chapel, she was buried at Green Hills Memorial Park.

Elsie was survived by children, Rev. Bobbie Dale Aycock, Delphine Aycock McWaid, Mildred Marline Aycock Thorington, Tommie Valton Aycock, & Rev. Larry Glen Aycock; 19 grandchildren, & numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter Doris Laverne Aycock Dotson in 2004.
