Carroll was a Battery Commander in Korea during the war.
A Registered Professional Engineer in Texas, Colorado, and Wyoming, he retired as Chief Engineer for Arapahoe County, CO. His professional career included working on projects in Java, Sumatra, Peru, Guyana, South Korea, and the Phillippines.
Carroll is survived by his wife Nancy, daughters Karen and Kathy, son Chris (Lisa), and seven grandchildren. His brother Bill (Annie Marie), brother in law Norm (Donna) and their families.
Private family services and internment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers Carroll had requested that memorials be made to the Association of Former Students of Texas A & M.
