There are multiple birth/death dates for Effa Jane Garrison Hinton but she is the oldest child of Jacob and Amanda Littleton Garrison. The transcription of the tombstone that I have says Hinton, Effa J. d 17 Mar 1891, 23 y, 3m, wife of Millard M. There are two death records filed at different times in Van Wert Co. One says died 30 Mar 1892 age 28 y, 7m, 7d and the final entry says she died 30 Mar 1893 age 27 y, 9m 23d. Both of these latter entries says she had heart trouble. In the 1870 Ohio census she was 5 so I will use 1865 for this memorial.
