Wallace Collin Priddice, dies Wednesday [27 Apr] at 4:30 p.m. at the home of his brother on Kent Street, aged 19 years and 7 months. He had been sick about two weeks with spinal meningitis. He was a native of England and had only been in this country twenty-two month. He was a young man highly esteemed by those whom he became acquainted and his associate workmen. He was an employee in the George West Island Paper Mill. He was an attendant at the Baptist Church.
He leaves to mourn his early death, father and step-mother, four brothers, Bertram, Arthur, Percy, and Leonard and two sisters, Mrs. Wm. Garnett(Garbett) of Stamford, Conn., and Miss Alice Maud Priddice.
The funeral was attended from the residence Sunday [1 May] at 2:30 p.m. Rev. G. G. Johnson, officiating. Transcribed by Bill Preston dsc/2809
