Polly Georgie Wallace Montague Tayloe, wife of the late Henry Gwynne Tayloe, Jr., of Mt. Airy, Richmond County, Virginia, died Friday, June 3, 2011 at her home. She was a member of St. John's Church, Warsaw, The Colonial Dames of America, The National Society of Colonial Dames of America and the Garden Club of Northern Neck.
She is survived by her four children, Anne Tayloe Neuman, Henry Gwynne Tayloe III, Courtenay Tayloe Altaffer, and William Montague Tayloe; 10 grandchildren; and 6.9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 7, at St. John's Church with interment following at Mt. Airy in the family graveyard. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John's Church, P.O. Box 1093, Warsaw, Virginia 22572.
