Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, Aug 15, at Highland Cemetery with the Rev. Sam Rice officiating. Grant Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Karl was born in the Independence community of Lamar County, a son of Robert Calvin Kimball and Jessie Haydock.
On Aug 2, 1921, he married Ruby Thompson.
He was a finance officer for the American Legion for more than 65 years and was employed by and was a member of the board of directors of the First National Bank of Deport for more than 70 years.
Surviving is his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Ruth (Charles E. Sr.) Ball of Amarillo; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
