Died Sunday, April 2, 1995, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. He was 74, a native of St. Helena Parish and resident of Kentwood. Visiting was held at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, 6 to 10 p.m. Monday. Visiting at the funeral home, 8 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by Elder Marshall Wallace. Interment in Day's Cemetery, Liverpool. Survived by a sister-in-law, Addie Allen , Fluker; five nieces, Faye Strong, Amite, Shirley Lee, Holden, Carolyn Tarver, Magnolia, Miss., Vesta Allen , Fluker, and Rea McDaniel, Clinton; four nephews, Dennis Allen , Fluker, Jack Allen , Kentwood, Richard Allen , Hammond, and Harvey Allen Jr., Memphis, Tenn.; and a number of grandnieces and grandnephews.
