Mrs. Lord was born in Braintree, Essex, England, the daughter of the late Frederick Green and Alice Fenwick Green. She was a kind and compassionate woman and a cherished wife, mother and nana who devoted her life to her family with a selfless love.
Mrs. Lord is survived by her husband of 57 years, Mr. Leonard E. Lord, their children David Lord (Lynne), Carolyn Headrick (Bob), Stephen Lord (Aileen), and Robert Lord, twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and three sisters of Braintree, England, Kathy Bennett, June Hume and Shelia Pryke.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 11:00 am at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME. Inurnment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Arrangements by CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME.
