Mrs. J. F. Fenley
Mrs. Launah Babb Finley, 83, died Saturday at 10:45 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. D. James, 206 Mary Street after a period of declining health. She was born in Laurens County, a daughter of the late Robert Franklin Babb and Alice Thomason Babb. Most of her life was spent in Greenville and she had lived with her daughter for the past two years. Her husband, the late Joseph Franklin Fenley, died November 18, 1962. She was a member of West view Baptist Church, the extension department of the Sunday school, and was a former member of the T.E. L. Class. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. R. H. Addington (Gladys) of Easley and Mrs. D. D. James (Obera) of Greenville; two sons, C.D. Fenley of Greenville and R.R. Fenley of Fort Worth, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Burnett of Greenville; a brother, T. O. Babb of Greenville; 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. W. F. Lister, Rev. Ansel Pruitt, and Rev. W. C., Richey at Westview Baptist Church Monday afternoon. Burial will be in the Mount Airy Baptist Church Cemetery in Anderson County.
