Birth: Apr. 20, 1702
Norfolk County
Massachusetts, USA
Death: unknown
Windham County
Connecticut, USA

Zepporah Morse Smith was born in Massachusetts, the record states on April 20th 1702 to Joshua Morse 1679-1748, and his wife Elizabeth Penniman Morse 1679-1703. Zepporah married Samuel Smith, son of John Smith 1655 1722 and Abigail Day Smith 1661-1725, May 30th, 1722 and they had, among others, at least three documented children, Samuel, Lydia Smith Dexter 1735-1825 and Joshua 1743-1764. Inquiries at Wyndam County led to my being directed to Old Ashford cemetery, and the Smith family graves. It was stated that Samuel and Zepporah were there with their son Joshua. It was from that county office in Ashford, Windham County, Connecticut, that I was told Zepporah died before 1780 - and that Zepporah was named in the will of her grandfather Samuel Morse, MEDFIELD, Norfolk, Massachusetts, 1717/1718.
