Ronald Wallace Coomer, 61, died Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Tippah County Hospital in Ripley.

He was Born February 24, 1950 to the late Guy and Leona Holley Coomer.

He was a Member of Macedonia " Deentown" Baptist Church.
He was a Gospel Singer for many years.
He Sang with his Wife at the Nursing Homes and Ripley Channel 19 Television.
He was a Retired Factory Worker.

Services will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Ripley Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kevin Purdon Officiating.
Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery.

He is survived by one Daughter, Amy Fears of Pontotoc; two Step Daughters, Cyndi Smith and Husband, Stephen, of Pine Grove; and Tina Martin of Tremonton, UT; two Step Sons, George McGrew and Wife, Mary, of Canton, OH; and Jessy McGrew of Odessa, TX; two Sisters, Sherry Collums of Randolph; and Mary Jo Purdon of Pontotoc; two Brothers, his Twin , Donald Coomer and Wife, Betty, of Amory; and Glenn Coomer and Wife, Zena, of Amory; two Grandchildren, Jonah and Luke Fears of Pontotoc; eleven Step Grandchildren; and four Step Great Grandchildren; and a Special Friend, Linda Boosman.

Pallbearers will be J. B. Collum, Terry Coomer, Scott Coomer, Josh Purdon, Jerry Purdon, and Kevin Purdon.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Teri Coomer and his Parents.

Visitation will be 11:00 am until 2:00 pm, Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Ripley Funeral Home.
