Archibald Austin was born 18 April 1860 in Casey County, Kentucky. He was married in Lincoln County, Kentucky on 25 December 1879 to Hannah J. Estes, at the home of the brides father George W. Estes. Hannah was born 20 September 1861, died 7 May 1901 in Lincoln County, and is buried in Estes Cemetery, New Salem Road, Lincoln County.
