Born at Adel, Mrs. Bingaman lived on a farm near there before coming to Des Moines 42 years ago. She had been ill five years.
Surviving are her husband, Harlan; six sons, Ivan, Richard, Ralph, Carol and Ervel, all of Des Moines, and Melvin of Waterloo; a stepson, Harold of Rantoul, Ill; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Nancy Mettetal of Des Moines; three brothers, Charles, Lester and William Chance, all of Adel; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Thomson, Mrs. Homer Fetters and Mrs. Jen Pratt, all of Des Moines, 33 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
