George Bacon Sherfey son of John Daniel and Cora Belle Martin Sherfey. George married Elizabeth Walker November 19, 1911, the daughter of Zachariah Walker ; Louise, Sarah Ruth and Hal Walker were their children. Elizabeth died quiet young and left George with three young children. Cora Bacon Martin Sherfey helped to raise the children. George married second Lena Whetsel June 9, 1920 with no issue and after George died Lena married a Whaley.
