Civil War Confederate Spy. Also known as Bettie Duval. Spied for the Confederacy at 16 years of age and reported to be one of the most beautiful spies known to General P.G.T. Beauregard. Delivered the first message of the Civil War to the Confederate Generals to Fairfax County Courthouse at the beginning of the First Battle of Bull Run. (bio by: Darlene Freeman)
