Tena/Dina born to George and Catherine(Ream)Hetzler one of eleven children.When seven years old they migrated to Ohio.At the age of 21 years she married Martin Garrison of a family who also migrated to Ohio from Pennsylvania.Made their home near Elk Creek, in Butler county.To this union three children were born:Simeon,Isarel and Catherine.Upon Martins death in 1834 at the age of 34. Leaving Tena/Dina with three children, ages 1-3. Lewis Hetzler, Tena/Dina brother took Simeon to raise as his own son.
Martin is buried in Elk Creek cemetery Madison township, Butler County.
Iseral and Catherine remained, and grew up and married in the area of Germantown.
August 22,1846 Tena/Dina married Frederick Thomas in Butler county, Ohio.No children were born of this union.
