A native of Atlanta, GA, Mrs. Elliott had resided in Albany, GA for forty one years before moving to Lake Blackshear six years ago with her late husband, James West Elliott. She was a 1948 graduate of College Park High School and attended Atlanta Business College. Mrs. Elliott was a homemaker and great mother. She was a member of The First Christian Church, was also active in the National Women In Construction (NWIC), the Loyal Order of the Moose and Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elk.
Survivors include four sons, Mark Elliott and his wife, Beth of Alpharetta, GA, Steven Elliott of Coleman, GA, David Elliott of Cordele, GA and Don Elliott and his wife, Gina, of Grand Bay, AL, four sisters-in-law, Marie Allen of Jonesboro, GA, Hill Perkins of Duluth, GA, Frances Allison of Gainesville, FL and Mozella, Shook of Dahlonega, GA, ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
