Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Wednesday, May 25, at SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Clarkson. Father Tim Forget will celebrate the Mass, and burial will be in Clarkson Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 PM to 7 PM at the church with a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM Tuesday at church. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service at church on Wednesday.
Elma was born on May 24, 1914, north of Clarkson to John and Marie Rose (Podany) Sedlacek. She attended Stanton County rural school. She was united in marriage to William Schroeder on May 6, 1939, at SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Clarkson. They made their home on a farm north of Leigh until they retired and moved to Clarkson in 1967. She did some babysitting at home after moving to Clarkson, and she enjoyed crocheting and raising flowers. Elma was a member of VFW Auxillary and SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church and the Altar Society.
