She was born November 4, 1935, in the Beech Creek community, to Orris H. and Bernice Glenn Trivette. She was a 1953 graduate of Cranberry High School and attended Appalachian State University for two years. She was a homemaker and a member of Beech Valley Baptist Church where she served as pianist.
Survivors include her husband, Quincy Norris, one daughter, one son, one grandson, one sister and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2p.m. at Beech Valley Baptist Church. The body will lie in state from 1-2 p.m. Officiating will be Reverends Clyde Cornett and Bill Warren. Burial will follow in the Beech Valley Community Cemetery.
Hampton Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
