Kerry Kong was born December 27, 1981 in Warren, Michigan to Kar Foon Kong and Soo Kam Leung. Kerry attended Margaret Black Elementary and Carleton Middle schools, and graduated from Sterling Heights High School, Class of 2000. Kerry resided in Sterling Heights, Michigan and was a server in the food service industry. He never married.
Kerry sustained multiple injuries when another car collided with his at the corner of Hall and Schoenherr roads on June 16, 2002 at about 2:35 AM. He died at the Saint John Mercy Hospital emergency room in Clinton Township at 3:25 AM. He was 20 years old.
Kerry is survived by his parents; sister, Winnie; grandparents, Kow Sau Leung and Kam Fung Mui; and by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins & friends.
Visitation Tuesday 3-9pm, Wednesday 9:00am until time of service at 11:30am at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons Inc, 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Interment White Chapel Cemetery.
