ROGERSVILLE -- Glenda Jackson Sorah, age 56, Rogersville, died Tuesday, March 27, 2001, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport.
She was a member of West View Baptist Church and was employed for 18 years by AFG Industries Greenland.
She was preceded in death by her father, J.D. Jackson; and grandparents, Lon and Margaret Jackson and John and Rebecca Brown.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Vince Way, Rogersville; a grandson, Dakota Jackson Way, Rogersville; mother, Ada Jackson, Rogersville; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Wayne Price, Rogersville; brother and sister-in-law, Lon David and Kathy Jackson, Rogersville; a niece, Brandy Price; a nephew, John David Jackson; a very special person, Gary Hensley; special friends, Barbara Allen Perry Sturgeon, Vicky Williamson, Patty Conkin, Bonnie Davis and fellow employees of AFG Greenland; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends any time at the residence of Carolyn and Wayne Price and from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2001, at Colboch-Price Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. at Colboch-Price Chapel with Revs. Ray Mullins and Basil Jones officiating. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2001, at Highland Cemetery.
