Marjorie Marie Higgins, 92, St. Marys, passed away May 2, 2011 at Heartland of Marietta surrounded by her family singing her favorite hymn, "Amazing Grace".

Born in Emma, KY, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Maggie McSurely Stewart.

She was a member of Willow Island Baptist Church and was a member of the ladies' group. She loved cooking, sewing, and gardening.

She is survived by three daughters, Cindy (Paul) Taylor, St. Marys, Elaine (Arine) Jividen, Gallipolis, OH, and Dorothy (Richard) Garrisson, Waverly; 13 grandchildren, Amanda, Sonya, Jay, Josh, Davey, Sherry, Randy, Steve, Angie, Rodney, Debbie, Dale, and Andy; 19 great-grandchildren, Ashton, Mallory, Kyrie, Cabel, Ethan, Emma, Makinsey, Shannon, Jason, Stephanie, Bobbie Jo, Jessie, Nathan, Robbie, Larry, Missy, Michael, Stephanie, and Susan; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Fred Campbell, second husband, Fred Higgins, daughter, Janice Rupert, one brother, and five sisters.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Willow Island Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Nichols officiating.

Interment will be in Willow Island Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys and from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the church.
