Anita Van Cleave Glass, 82, of Waco, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 3, 2011. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, May 5, at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at China Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, at Lake Shore Funeral Home in Waco.

Anita was born in Waco, Texas, to the late Charles and Elsie Van Cleave. She worked until the mid-80s in the lab for both the Waco and Temple V.A. Hospitals. She loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. She also enjoyed Christian music and reading her Bible. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Jim Parrish and wife, Anita, of Huntsville; grandchildren, Tommy Gattis and wife, Cherry, of Huntsville, Richie Gattis and wife, Frances, of Lovelady, Jaime Feaster and husband, Blanton, of Wichita Falls, and Roni Parrish-Hamner, of Huntsville; great-grandchildren, Casey, Dalton and Hannah Gattis, Ashley and Brittany Gattis, Parrish Feaster and Cyler and Cadence Hamner; brother, Dr. Charles Van Cleave and wife, Betty, of Martins Mill; nieces, Charlotte Pisors and husband, Dan, of Lorena, and Sharon Fain and husband, Gary, of Canton; nephew, Steven Van Cleave of Martins Mill; great-nephews, Michael John, Calvin and Drew Keeney, and Ben, Bryan and Baylor Fain; many other family members; and a host of friends.
