Billie Sue Clover, 78 died May 2, 2011 in Eufaula from complications from Alzheimer's disease. Billie was born March 17, 1933 to Sherman Nichols and Laura Graham Nichols, graduating from Eufaula High School in 1951 and was a lifetime resident of Eufaula. She married Melvin Clover on February 24, 1953 in Fort Smith, Arkansas and returned to make her home in Eufaula. A lifetime member of the First Assembly of God Church, she served as assistant church secretary and during church services frequently sang special songs, having a beautiful singing voice. Billie retired from the Bank of Oklahoma in 1995 after a 28 year banking career that initially began with the Farmers & Merchants Bank. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Melvin Clover, sons Mike Clover and his wife Terri of Shawnee and Eddy Clover and his wife Karen of Eufaula and grandsons, Michael, Matt and Mark also of Eufaula. She loved her church and her family dearly, especially those three grandsons. Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the First Assembly of God Church in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory. Billie will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
